<p>The great thing about planning a health fair is that the possibilities are nearly endless. You can do everything from providing health screenings and demonstrations to speaking with employees about how to make better decisions concerning their individual health. </p>
<p>If you are interested in planning a health fair you need to remember that success is greatly determined by the amount of time that you put into the process. You should start planning details of the event at least six months before your target date. You want to make sure that you have plenty of time and may even choose to start one year in advance. Remember, the more time you have when planning a health fair the better off you will be in the long run. Having plenty of time to make changes and deal with unexpected occurrences will allow you to move forward with ease. </p>
<p>The first step in planning a health fair is to set up a committee, and delegate duties to each member. During this step in the process the educator should ask for volunteers, or even assign particular duties if they so desire. <p>The next step in planning a health fair is to brainstorm the many available activities that will take place. Topics are limitless when it comes to activities, and the more you have the better. <p>Finally, when you are done with planning the health fair the process is still not complete. When everything is said and done you should evaluate the entire health fair. Not only will you want to look at the health fair from a planner&#8217;s point of view, but you should also get the feedback of both exhibitors and participants. You can do this by handing out evaluation forms, and encouraging attendees to get them back to you as soon as possible. </p>
<p>As you can see, planning an employee health fair is far from impossible. Although you will have to take some time to plan the details, this will pay off in the end. The bottom line is that even though planning a health fair can be hard work, it can also be quite gratifying.</p>

These students are most likely to drop their studies for financial reasons, as they have to work to pay off their dues of healthcare expenses.</p>
<p>Many students find it difficult to meet the costs of healthcare insurance, because it does not come cheap. However, it is advantageous for a student to have this medical insurance.</p>
<p>Although there are many plans offering student health insurance, they can be categorized into three basic types: parent&#8217;s health care plan, college health insurance plan, and the commercial health insurance plan. Each of the mentioned plans has their own advantages and disadvantages.</p>
<p>Under the parent&#8217;s health care plan, a college student may not be covered, after a certain age. <p>Many companies sell commercial health insurance. The terms may differ widely, hence, it would be essential to purchase a plan that offer facilities that one finds suitable. The best way would be to make a list of the features that are important, and then get the details for different plans from various companies, and compare them to decide which plan is the best one.</p>
<p>Under the commercial health plan, there is the temporary student health insurance, which is meant for students staying away from home. It can be availed for periods of thirty days, to six or twelve months. According to the temporary plan, the student can find a doctor or hospital of his choice by taking an Indemnity Plan. Alternatively, he or she may take the Managed Care Plan, which allows a choice of doctors and hospitals that are in the plan&#8217;s network. <p>The skin is the largest organ of the human body and protects it from environmental changes. Some universal diseases show symptoms on the skin like measles and rubella, but these diseases are not categorized as dermatologic disorders.</p>
<p>Types of Skin diseases<br />
There are various types of skin diseases such as skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, acne, sunburn, impetigo, scabies, warts, erythema infectiosum, ulcers, tinea, herpes and pruritis. The skin becomes red, swollen and burnt due to irritation and inflammation. Due to some allergies, irritants, genetic makeup and problems in the immune system, the skin can suffer from dermatitis and hives. Skin disorders are caused by absorption of irritants and so, one should wear proper skin protective clothes, like gloves, aprons and overalls.</p>
<p>Skin disease-Vitiligo<br />
Vitiligo or Leukoderma is a skin disease that occurs due to loss of pigment and results in irregular pale skin patches.</p>
<p>Signs and symptoms<br />
Vitiligo can be caused due to stress that affects the immune system and eliminates the skin pigment. The skin patches may shrink, grow or remain the same in size. The white patches spread on various body parts such as the limbs, torso, face and groin. With time, the vitiligo affected skin patches re-pigment and other skin areas become affected. If the disease infects the scalp then the color of the hair becomes white. Sometimes golden brown patches appear around the eyes, nostrils and mouth.</p>

Vitiligo has an important effect on the psychology of the patient. Sometimes, people with vitilig can feel depressed due to the changes in their appearance. In some cultures, people having vitiligo, are thought to be evil and demon possessed.</p>
<p>Treatment<br />
In mild cases of vitiligo, the skin can be hidden using makeup or camouflage solutions. Dermatologists also prescribe corticosteroid cream for skin patches. The exposure of skin to long-wave ultraviolet rays from the sun is also beneficial for the patient. The application of immunomodulator creams like Protopic and Elidel helps in repigmentation of the skin when used with ultra violet ray treatment. The chemical depigmentation of skin through Monobenzone results in complete or partially complete depigmentation.</p>
<p>Skin care<br />
Proper skin care keeps the skin healthy and decreases the probability of any skin diseases. With age, the number of blood vessels in the skin decreases, the oil glands become less active and this makes the skin fragile and wrinkled.</p>
<p>Ultraviolet rays also causes damage to the skin and can cause wrinkles, rough skin, liver spots and even cancerous skin tumors. The complete sun protection for the skin can be attained by avoiding the sun during high-intensity peak hours, by wearing protective clothing and by using sunscreen when outside.
