I play hockey a lot and have a bad back and had foot pain for a number of years and after much thought, I decided to go to a local chiropractor to get some relief. I had talked with a neighbor, told me he had a bad back and used a chiropractor on a regular basis again. He recommended his chiropractor and I setup an appointment for an initial visit where they run some tests and determine which type of treatment you need. The cost of my first visit was $ 50 and the first visit was about an hour long. In the treatment started, my first treatment was initially a bit scary, as I have never had my back cracked or tampered with before. You see, you stood on a table and the chiropractor puts pressure on your spine with a fast movement causing the back to create a popping noise, the chiropractor said, was a kind of gas that your body produces and the sudden popping noise is harmless. Of course, I have received the waiver when you first sign up to receive the treatment allows them to suffer no legal responsibility, you should have any problems or side effects. When my chiropractor was finished with the treatment, he has some cold gel, which is an anti-inflammatory in my back and felt great after each treatment. I now use the anti-inflammatory all the time when my back gets a little sore from too much hockey or physical activity.
I ended up in the chiropractor for about 15 treatments and felt a great relief from the chiropractic appointments. After each visit you will feel so much better than the manipulation relieves tension in the body. The doctor also helped me with some stretching exercises for my back and showed me how my attitude and keep good health through stretching back even a certain way while driving my car was also bothers me. He also suggested buying some ankle weights to help, for some miniscus strength I had pain in my right knee and also helped a lot. Overall I had a great experience with my local chiropractor and will use them again if I have future problems.
