			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Muscles play a crucial role in the normal functioning of the lower back and sciatic nerve. If one of the muscles in this area are too narrow or too weak, they have the potential to cause <a href="http://www.reliefmd.com/">pain</a>. This is usually referred to as Muscle imbalance. The Hamstring muscles are a common fault for this and it is usually the leak is the problem.<br />
In a similar way to which I have mentioned in an article on the piriformis muscle, tight hamstring muscles may also determine that an influence on the low back, sacro-iliac joint and sciatic nerve.<br />
With reference to the lower back, hamstring muscles are attached to the underside of the pelvis, in a similar area of the bony points that you sit on. If this muscle is tight, it will drag on the bottom of the pelvis and encourage them to turn back. If it is around the low back tightness itself, this backward rotation is resisted by the rear and the growing burden will be taken up in and around the lower part of the spine or the sacro-iliac joint. This increased stress is likely to lead to low back pain. <span id="more-21"></span>Alternatively, if there are no specific tightness of the lower back, and maybe even some weakness, the increased drag resulting from the tight hamstrings may be the lower back to flex too much, this time possibly to Low Back Pain in contrast to the Sacred &#8211; Iliaca pain. Either way, Low <a href="http://www.reliefmd.com/">Back Pain</a> may occur as a result of the tight hamstring muscles.<br />
It is a little different as far as ischiadicus nerve is affected. The sciatic nerve consists of 5 nerve roots from the lower back of the lumbar spine and sacrum. As he does so, the sciatic nerve through the buttock region and down the back of the leg on the back of the knee. There are numerous ways to get the hamstring muscles. I will now describe a very gentle way of stretching. Only when you feel that this route is too easy when you consider proceeding with aggressive stretches.<br />
While on your back with your knees bent, gently hold behind the knee from the side to stretch and pull your knees toward your chest, stopping when your knee is directly to the ceiling.<br />
When in this position, gently straighten the same knee, so that your lower leg will begin to point toward the ceiling as well.<br />
NB If your Hamstrings are tight, you will not be able to point your foot towards the ceiling!<br />
As you do this, stop as soon as you begin to feel stretching sensation on the back of your leg.<br />
Hold: about 20-30 seconds.<br />
Repeat: 2-3 times.<br />
Repeat: 2-3 times per day.<br />
As you begin to gently stretch the hamstring muscles, there will be more supple. This leads to tension is removed from the lower back, sacro-iliac joint and hamstring muscles, which in turn is the correct function of these two areas and thus healing will take place. As a result, your pain begins to resolve.<br />
Be careful when implementing this route, since it is important you do not allow your back too much too shallow in the ground / surface you are lying on the floor. A simple way to prevent this from happening is that your low back in a neutral position and then gently pull your abdominal muscles. These muscles play an important role in the stability of the lower spine and associated structures, and therefore this work careful in performing this exercise, you will help your lower back and pelvis, with more stability as well.<br />
It is unlikely but not impossible, that your low back pain will resolve in implementing Hamstring alone. The chances are, you may need one or two other exercises as well, they are stretching or strengthening exercises.</p>
